Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Soda powder
  • 1/2 Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 3 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 3 nos Cardamom Elakka
  • 1/4 cup Semolina Rava/Sooji
  • 1 cup Dates cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 tsp Soda powder
  • 125 ml Water
  • 1 cup Carrot grated
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • Lemon juice from 1/4 of a lime
  • 3/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 125 ml Refined oil
  • 2 nos Eggs

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven.
  • Pour some flour into the greased baking tray. Remove excess flour if any.
  • Keep dates in soda powder water for 1 hr.
  • Swift flour, soda powder and spice powder.
  • Beat sugar & oil.
  • Add egg yolk to it one by one.
  • Add carrot and date to it along with vanilla essence and lime juice.
  • Add flour and semolina.
  • Add beaten egg white to it.
  • Bake it for about 30 mins.
