  • 85 g All purpose flour Maida
  • 25 g Butter room temperature
  • 55 g Cheese grated
  • 1/4 tsp Caraway seeds Sheema jeerakam
  • 1-2 tbsp Milk approx
  • Salt A pinch


  • For preparing cheese crakers, take a bowl and sift maida well. Add in the butter and rub it in with your finger tips.
  • Then add grated cheese, caraway seeds and salt. Make a dough by using enough milk.
  • Roll out the dough to about 1/4" thickness and cut into any shape using a fancy cutter. 4)Place on a greased baking tin and prick all over with a fork.
  • Bake in a hot oven at 450ªF for 7 to 8 minutes till light golden brown.
  • Once cool, you can store it in a airtight container.
  • Cheese crakers are ready. It is a very tasty and light snack.
