For Marinating The Prawns:

  • Clean and wash the prawns.
  • Take all ingredients for marinating prawns.
  • Prepare a mixture and apply it on the drained prawns. Set aside for a few minutes for marination. Take a pan, pour enough oil and fry the prawns.
  • Keep the fried prawns aside.

For Preparing Masala:

  • Heat oil in a bottom thick pan and add crushed ginger garlic and saute for 1 minute.
  • Add sliced onion and salt. Saute until It turns brown. Add oil if needed. Onion should be well sauteed in this recipe. So never compromise on this step.
  • Add crushed green chilly and saute it well.
  • Add sliced tomato and mix well. Cover and cook for around 5 minutes or until tomatoes are cooked.
  • Add pepper powder and garam masala. Saute it well until it releases a pleasant aroma.
  • Add fried prawns and mix well.
  • Add some coriander leaves at this stage.
  • Serve the dish with rice, pulao, ghee rice, chapati or any Indian bread. Enjoy 🙂
