Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Chicken cut into pieces
  • 3 nos Potatoes diced into big pieces
  • 2 nos Onion medium & chopped
  • 2 nos Tomato small & chopped
  • 2 pinches Garam masala
  • 1 stick Cinnamon Stick Karugapatta
  • Curry leaves Few
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

  • For preparing Chicken Potato Kurma, first saute the ingredients for grinding that are mentioned above in some oil. Keep the ground mixture aside. Next, heat oil in a wide bottomed pan.
  • Add cinnamon stick and stir in chopped onion pieces. When the onion are browned, add chopped tomatoes. Saute in low flame until the tomatoes blend well with onion.
  • Sprinkle garam masala and required salt. Add potato pieces and saute gently.
  • Add the ground coconut mixture and stir in chicken pieces. Cover and cook in medium flame.
  • Cook till the gravy has thickened and chicken pieces are soft and succulent.
  • Season Chicken Potato Kurma with curry leaves.
  • :- Serve Chicken Potato Kurma with any rice dish, chapathi or dosa.
