Ingredients
- Chicken( Cut into small pieces ) - 500 gm
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Cloves - 4-5 nos
- Cardamom, Cinnamon - 1 each
- Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- Onion(finely chopped ) - 3 no
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Garlic pod - 5-6 nos
- Black pepper - 1 tbsp
- Dried red chilly - 4 nos
- Vinegar - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 /
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Tomato - 2 nos
- Curry leaves -
- Sugar(a pinch.) -
- Oil - 4 tbsp
- Salt to taste -

Instructions
- First grind the mustard seeds and add to the cleaned chicken pieces.
- Marinate the cleaned chicken pieces with the above ground paste along with salt and keep it aside for 1 hour.
- Heat oil in a wide pan , add 2 dried chillies, curry leaves and add 2 onions fryit.Add the marinated chicken pieces and stir fry for a few minutes
- Add turmeric, coriander powder and sauté it . Add chopped tomatoes and mix it all together.
- Add 1 cup of warm water .Cover and cook until the chicken is done and curry is thick. (Stirring in between from to time)
- Chicken Vindaloo is ready. Serve hot with rice or your choice of bread.
- Adjust the quantity of spices according to your choice.
