Ingredients
- Basmati rice - 2 cups
- Onion(finely diced, small) - 2 nos
- Vegetables(Carrot,Beans,Cauliflower and Peas, cut into small pieces) - 2 cups
- Thick coconut milk - 1 cup
- Ginger(cut into small pieces ) - 1" piece
- Garlic pods(cut into small pieces ) - 6 -
- Green chillies(cut into small pieces ) - 4 -
- Cinnamon sticks(Karugapatta) - 1 -
- Cloves(Grambu) - 2 nos
- Coriander leaves - 7 -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil or ghee - 4 tsp

Instructions
- Soak the rice in cold water for about 30 mins. Set it aside.
- Add the diced onions and fry till it turns golden brown.
- Add the cinnamon sticks and cloves.
- Add the vegetables, salt and coriander leaves and fry for some more time.
- :- Rice and Water should be in 1 : 1 1/2 proportion ).
- Let this mixture boil nicely.
- Finally, add the rice and cover it.
- Make the flame low and keep for 15 mins.
- Open it and mix the cooked pulav gently.
- Garnish with few fresh coriander leaves.
