  • 1 tsp Corn flour
  • 3 nos Egg
  • 1 tsp Custard powder
  • 3 tsp Icing sugar
  • 150 g Whipped cream
  • 1/4 tsp Cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp Coffee
  • 1/2 tsp Gelatin
  • Chocolate sauce As reqd
  • 2 cups Milk
  • Chocolate As reqd, grated


  • For preparing coffee ice-cream, separate yolk and white of eggs. Whip the yolks. Add the icing sugar and whip again. Keep it aside.
  • Heat the milk by stirring it continuously.
  • Add corn flour and custard powder in half of the boiled milk and stir well to avoid lumps.
  • Add the remaining milk in the whipped egg yolk and mix well.
  • Pour the egg yolk mixture and the custard mixture in a double boiler and mix well.
  • Stir till the milk reaches a pudding like consistency.
  • Pour this mixture in another bowl. Add coffee powder, cocoa powder, gelatin dissolved in water, egg white and whipped cream. Whip it.
  • Refrigerate it in freezer till it sets.
  • Scoop it in a serving bowl and decorate it with grated chocolate and chocolate sauce.
  • Coffee ice-cream is ready. Serve cold.
