  • 300 g Crab cuticle removed
  • 200 g Potatoes grated
  • Pepper As reqd
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder chopped
  • 2 tsp Spring onion chopped
  • 4 tsp Mayonnaise
  • Oil As reqd
  • Bread powder As reqd
  • 1 or Eggs beaten
  • Salt As reqd


  • For preparing crab potato cutlet, first add salt and red chilly powder to the grated potato. Keep it aside.
  • Cook crab in enough water with required salt. Remove cooked crab from fire. Heat oil in a pan and fry the crabs. Shred the cooked crab.
  • Add pepper, mayonnaise and spring onion to the shredded crab. Mix well.
  • Make small balls out of the grated potato and make a small hole in it. Fill the hole with the crab filling and roll it again into a ball.
  • Press it slowly and make it in the shape of a cutlet.
  • Dip it in egg and then in bread powder.
  • Fry it in oil till it turns golden brown.
  • Crab potato cutlet is ready. Serve hot with ketchup.
