It ia a Fibre-rich broken wheat variation of the traditional semolina upma. It is healthy and good for diabetic people.

Ingredients
- Dhaliya (Broken Wheat) .. 2 cups -
- Chopped onion - ½ cup
- Chopped ginger - 1 tspn
- Curry leaves - 8 –
- Chopped Green Chillies - 2 tspns
- Grated Coconut - ½ cup
- Mustard seeds - 1 tspn
- Salt(To taste) -
- Coconut/Refined Oil - 3 –
- Water(As required) -

Instructions
- Soak the Dhaliya for about 5 minutes
- Heat the Oil in a frying pan and add Mustard seeds in it
- When the Mustard seeds are bursted, add the chopped Onion, Ginger, Green Chilli and Curry leaves and stir it for 3 – 4 minutes
- When the water boils well, add the soaked Dhaliya and stir it
- After the Dhailya is cooked properly, add grated Coconut and stir it further and change the Uppumav to a serving plate
