Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cup Ripe false A fleshy fruit: apple, pear or related fruits having seed chambers and an outer fleshy part
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • Black salt As reqd
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • For preparing false sherbet, soak the false in 4 cups of luke warm water for 3 hours.
  • Crush and strain the juice of the false into a jug.
  • Roast and powder the cumin seeds.
  • Mix the false juice with sugar, salt, lemon juice and half of the powdered cumin seeds and stir well.
  • Refrigerate it.
  • Pour into glasses and sprinkle with remaining powdered cumin seeds and black salt.
  • False sherbet is ready. Serve chilled.
