1/2 kg Fine Rice (not Basmati rice)1 ltr Curd (not sour)1 cup Green chilly pieces10 nos Red chillies100 gm Cashew nuts1/2 cup Garlic (finely chopped)1 tbsp Mustard seedsCurry leaves (A fist full)Salt (As reqd)1 ltr MilkAsafoetida (A pinch, Kaayam)100 ml Ghee Cook rice. Spread it in a wide plate.Take milk in a vessel and boil it until reduced to 700 ml. Keep aside.Take ghee in a frying pan and warm.
