Grind together the coriander leaves, mint leaves and a green chilli.2) Apply the ground paste, turmeric, salt and a tsp of chilli powder in to fish.
Keep aside for 10 minutes.4) Slightly fry the fish both sides in a tawa. Keep aside the fish pieces.
In a kadai, heat oil and sauté ginger-garlic paste, onion, green chillies and garam masala.6) Add tomato, chilli powder, coriander, fish masala and cook masala well.
Add the tamarind water and add salt accordingly.8) Make it a semi masala.9) Heat the plantain leaf in flame and cut the leaf into a square shape.10) Keep the masala (1 tbsp) inside leaf and keep the fish piece above. Cover the fish piece again with masala.
Repeat this for other fish pieces also.12) Tie the fish piece properly. Again roast the fish in tawa for 10 minutes.
