Fish Pappas Fish(Meen) Pappas ½ kg Fish1½ tbsp Coriander powder1/2 cm Ginger (finely sliced)4 nos Garlic pods5 nos Green chillies (split)1½ cup Onions (sliced)1/2 cup Thick coconut milk½ cup Thin coconut milk1 tsp Garam masala1 tbsp VinegarSalt (As reqd)For Seasoning:½ tsp Mustard seeds2 sprig Curry leaves1 tsp Onion (finely chopped)1 tbsp Oil Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds and when they crackle, add curry leaves, onions, garlic and ginger for 2 minutes. Add green chillies, coriander powder and fry for 3 minutes. Add thin coconut milk, salt and vinegar. Bring the gravy to boil and add fish pieces. Cook on low fire for 15 minutes.Mix a pinch of garam masala in thick coconut milk.Pour it into the curry and remove from the fire immediately. Kerala
Well. it was a ok kind of dish.
Not a very good recipe. I tried it and it was very bland not much flavour.
i think this is a good recipe. we dont use kumpuli for fish pappas, fish molly etc. vinegar is used in these recipes instead.
