- Channa dal : 2 cups (cooked) -
- Coconut : 1 cup (grated) -
- Sugar : ¾ cup -
- All purpose flour : 2 ½ cups -
- Cardamom powder : ½ tsp -
- Yellow color : a pinch (optional) -

- First seive flour. Add salt and knead it to dough (like chappathi dough). Keep this aside for 1 hour.
- Grind the mixture without water.7) Make balls of lemon size from the mixture.Also make balls from all purpose flour.8) Make a small round with flour dough (poori size or less). In the middle add the dal balls. Cover it with the flour dough. Roll it with hand.
- Make chappathi. Place it in hot tawa. Add ghee in sides.
- 10) Home made bholi is ready. You will get a nice layer from inside also.
