  • Knead the flour, egg, milk powder, salt and water to make a smooth dough.
  • Divide the dough into equal sized balls.
  • Apply oil on a clean surface to press the dough.
  • Press each balls on the surface by applying oil as required.
  • Use your hands to make the dough as thin as possible. (its very tricky. Need lots of practice)
  • Slice the pressed dough into thin strips.
  • Roll the strips. Repeat the same for the remaining strips and dough.
  • Press the rolled strips with your palm.
  • Heat a pan and apply oil on the pan.
  • Cook the porotta on both sides.
  • Serve it with any curry as you wish.
