Soaked and cooked chickpea is ground with cumin seeds, lemon juice, olive oil and other ingredients to prepare this mid-eastern dip
Instructions
- First cook the chickpeas with some water. Drain and preserve the liquid. Remove the skin of cooked chickpeas.
- During blending, keep adding the reserved liquid until the dip reaches the desired consistency.
- Humus / hummus recipe, a popular mid-eastern dip, with pita bread, grilled chicken etc is ready. Garnish with chopped parsley and paprika on top.
