  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • Tahini - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Extra virgin olive oil - 1/2 tbsp
  • Garlic pods - 2 nos
  • Parsley(For garnishing, chopped) -
  • Salt(As reqd) -
  • Paprika - 1 tsp

Instructions
  1. First cook the chickpeas with some water. Drain and preserve the liquid. Remove the skin of cooked chickpeas.
  2. Grind together chickpeas, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, tahini and required salt.
  3. During blending, keep adding the reserved liquid until the dip reaches the desired consistency.
  4. Humus / hummus recipe, a popular mid-eastern dip, with pita bread, grilled chicken etc is ready. Garnish with chopped parsley and paprika on top.

Main ingredient is Tahini sauce which is basically paste of sesame seeds.
