Indo-Chinese Chili Chicken dry

  • 500 gm Chicken 1 inch pieces, boneless
  • 4 nos Green chilies cut into halves
  • 1 inch Ginger finely chopped
  • 10 nos Garlic pods finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Reddish orange color
  • ½ tbsp Red chili powder
  • 2 tsp White vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp Green chili sauce
  • 1 tsp China salt Ajinomotto
  • 1 tsp White pepper
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves/Cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Spring onions finely chopped
  • Refined oil for deep frying

For Marination:-

  • 1/2 tbsp Multi purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt As reqd


  • Marinade chicken in the mentioned marination ingredients for atleast an hour.
  • Heat oil in a deep skillet.
  • Fry the chicken pieces on medium flame, until they are golden brown and keep them aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a skillet.
  • Saute ginger and garlic pieces for half a minute.
  • Add the fried chicken pieces to it.
  • Add Vinegar, Soya sauce, green chili sauce and mix well. 8)Add a cup of water to it.
  • Add red chili powder, china salt, salt (if necessary), reddish orange color and cook.
  • When half of the water is evaporated, add green chilies to it and cook, till it gets dry.
  • At the end, add white pepper, coriander leaves and spring onions to it.
  • :- Serve hot.
