  • Glass noodles – 1 packet (soaked in warm water for 20 minutes and drained add a little oil so that it will not stick together), soaked in warm water for 20 minutes and drained
  • 200 gms Beef
  • 1 no Carrot cut into thin strips
  • 1 no Onion sliced thinly
  • 5 dried Mushrooms soaked in hot water till soft. Drain and slice them
  • 2 tsp Garlic minced
  • Spring Onions cut diagonally
  • 1 each Red and yellow capsicum cut in strips
  • 2 tbsp Light Soy sauce
  • Oil for cooking
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds


  • Cut the beef into thin strips and cook them in water with salt, soya sauce and drain them.
  • Put the drained noodles into a deep bowl and add cooked beef strips.
  • Heat a little oil in a wok, add sliced onions, garlic and stir fry.
  • Add the mushrooms and stir fry till cooked.
  • Slide in the red and green capsicum, sliced spring onions and minced garlic and fry till they are soft.
  • Add the glass noodles, beef strips, salt, soya sauce, pepper and combine the mixture gently.
  • Adjust the seasoning and transfer on a flat platter, sprinkle sesame seeds.
