Ingredients
- Boiled and mashed potatoes : 1/2 cup -
- Kaddu (red pumpkin), peeled and cut into small pieces : 250 gm -
- Chilli powder : 1 tsp -
- Coriander powder : 1 tsp -
- Amchoor : 1/2 tsp -
- Powdered sugar : 1/4 tsp -
- Green chilli : 1 no -
- Salt : according to taste -
- Oil : 2 tsp -

Instructions
- Heat little amount of oil in a non - stick pan and add small red pumpkin pieces to it.
- Cover it with a lid and let it cook till it becomes soft enough to be mashed.
- Add salt, chilli powder, sugar, amchoor and coriander powder to the cooked red pumpkin and mix well.
- Put mashed potatoes in the pan and mix it properly so that red pumpkin and potatoes blend nicely.
- Add some more salt accordingly to the quantity of added potatoes. Mix again.
- Take the pan, off the gas and let it cool down for sometime
- Divide the mixture into several portions and shape them into a flat and round tikki.
- To cook it in a healthy way, these tikkis will be shallow fried. For this, add little oil in the non - stick pan and heat it.
- Cook the tikkis on low flame till it becomes light brown in color. Similarly cook the other side as well.
- Serve hot with green chutney or tamarind chutney.
