Apply salt and turmeric onto it and keep for 1 hour.Grind together kashmiri chillies, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, pepper, cinnamon and cloves.Grind together ginger and garlic to a paste.Grind cashew nuts and kismis separately.Heat kadai and pour oil. Fry the chicken pieces without overdoing it. Take out the pieces and keep aside.In the remaining oil, fry the chopped onion till golden brown. Add ginger - garlic paste and spray some water. When it cooks well and the smell comes, add the ground masala.Stir well and spray water if it sticks to the pan. When it starts browning and oil separates, add tomato and cook well. Add fried chicken pieces, salt as per requirement and 2 cups of water. Close the vessel and cook well.When chicken is cooked, add cashew- kismis paste in 1 tbsp of water.
