1 kg Chicken (preferably with bones)2 nos Onion (thinly cut, medium size)2 nos Tomato (chopped)1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste2-3 nos Green chillies1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1 tsp Coriander powder1 tsp Garam masala powder1 tbsp Chilli powder1 tin Coconut creamSalt (to taste) Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions till golden brown.Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for about 1-2 minutes.Add green chillies and fry for 1 minutes.Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala and fry for a minute.Add chilli powder and mix for about 10-20 sec and add the choppped tomatoes.Fry the tomatoes till oil leaves the sides and then add salt.Add the washed chicken pieces and fry for 5 mins. Once the chicken pieces are nicely coated in the masala, add the coconut cream and a little water if necessary.Cover and cook or pressure cook it till the chicken is tender.Hints:- :- Can add green chillies and chilly powder as per need.:- Can marinate chicken in salt, turmeric powder and ginger-garlic paste for a few hours to tenderize.:- Add more coconut cream if more gravy is desired.
