- Green gram(Cheruparippu) - 1 cup
- Water - 3 cups
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Ghee - 2 tsp

Instructions
- Fry the lentils slightly in a pan.
- Boil 3 cups of water.
- Add the washed lentils and turmeric powder.
- When it boils, lower the flame.
- Mix well and remove from fire.

The instructions are a bit confusing… The preparation part says: “Lightly fry the lentils in a pan”… then they say “Boil .. water and add the washed lentils..”
Do we have to have two sets of lentils?
Sorry – but my first few attempts at cooking… would appreciate if things are a bit clearer.
