Ingredients
- Mushroom(cut into small pieces) - 250 gm
- Onion(finely chopped, large) - 1 no
- Grated Coconut - 1 cup
- Red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 2 nos
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Garlic pods - 2 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions
- Grind together coconut, red chillies, garlic, cumin seeds and turmeric powder into a coarse paste.
- Heat a tbsp of oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Stir fry the mushrooms, until they are cooked and keep aside.
- Pour remaining oil into the kadai.
- Splutter mustard seeds.
- Add black gram and curry leaves and chopped onion and saute, till they turn golden brown.
- Add the ground mixture and saute for 2 - 3 seconds.
- Add salt and mix well.
- Add mushrooms and cook again for 1 - 2 mins.
