- Elephant yam - 500 g
- Coconut milk - 2 cup
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Shallots - 10
- Salt -
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

- For preparing the tasty dish, first cut the yam into very small pieces and wash well.
- Then add curry leaves and saute for few seconds.
- Add all powders and saute for 2-3 minutes in low flame. Make sure that powders do not get burnt.
- Add cooked yam and combine well. Cook for another 2 minutes and remove it from the flame.
