Instructions
- Heat oil and ghee in a kadai add cumin seeds and pepper a d ginger , saute for 2 minutes.
- Add red chilly also and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add cashews and saute till it turns brown.
- Then pour this over rice and dal mix.
- Mix all together well.Heat for 2 minutes in low flame,
- Now khara pongal is ready .Serve hot with sambhar and coconut chutney.
