  • Brinjal(cut into round pieces and put them in salt water so as to get rid of the serum, Khathirikka) - 3 nos
  • Dry red chillies – 8(Kollamulaku) - 10 nos
  • Peppercorns - 1 tbsp
  • Garlic pods - 4 nos
  • Vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Curry leaves(A few) -

Instructions
  1. Grind together red chillies, pepper, garlic and curry leaves into a paste.
  2. Marinate the brinjal pieces with the above paste and vinegar for about 30 mins.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan (shallow frying).
  4. Add the marinated brinjal pieces and fry.
  5. Flip them to fry the other side too.
