Ingredients
- Brinjal(cut into round pieces and put them in salt water so as to get rid of the serum, Khathirikka) - 3 nos
- Dry red chillies – 8(Kollamulaku) - 10 nos
- Peppercorns - 1 tbsp
- Garlic pods - 4 nos
- Vinegar - 1 tbsp
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Curry leaves(A few) -

Instructions
- Grind together red chillies, pepper, garlic and curry leaves into a paste.
- Marinate the brinjal pieces with the above paste and vinegar for about 30 mins.
- Heat oil in a frying pan (shallow frying).
- Add the marinated brinjal pieces and fry.
- Flip them to fry the other side too.
