Coconut - black gram vadas with ginger, green chilly and onion

Ingredients
- Black gram(husk removed) - 2 cups
- Coconut(grated) - 2 cups
- Onions(finely chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Green chillies(finely chopped) - 1/4 cup
- Ginger(finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Refined oil - 750 ml

Instructions
- Soak the black gram over night and grind into a thick dough.
- Add all the ingredients, except oil, to the dough and mix well. Allow to settle for some time.
- Take oil in a deep bottomed pan and heat.
- Prepare about three inch circular discs(of about one inch thick) and carefully add one after another to the boiling oil.
- Deep fry until they turn brown in colour.
- Serve hot with hot and sweet sauce.
