  • Soak the black gram over night and grind into a thick dough.
  • Add all the ingredients, except oil, to the dough and mix well. Allow to settle for some time.
  • Take oil in a deep bottomed pan and heat.
  • Prepare about three inch circular discs(of about one inch thick) and carefully add one after another to the boiling oil.
  • Deep fry until they turn brown in colour.
  • Serve hot with hot and sweet sauce.
