Malaysian Lacey Pancake
Roti Jala made with flour,eggs and
milk

Fresh
milk

cup
Water
2
nos
Egg
Salt
to taste

tsp
Turmeric powder
1
tbsp
Oil
Ghee
/
oil
for oiling the pan
1/2
tsp
Cumin seeds
1
cup
Roti jala mould
Instructions
Take a deep bowl and add eggs,
water
,
coconut
milk
and
turmeric powder
and whisk lightly. Add
cumin seeds
.
Mix in the flour little by little so that there are no lumps.
Strain the batter through a fine sieve.
Heat a medium non stick pan and grease it with
ghee
.
Fill the roti mould or jelebi mould with batter and using circular motion make a a thin lacy pancake.
Cook until set. :-cook only on one side.
Carefully fold from the sides first, then roll it up to form a roll. :-add a little
water
if the batter is too thick.
Make roti jala likewise and stack it on a plate.
:- Malaysian Lacey Pancake is ready!!! :- Serve the Malaysian Lacey Pancake hot with any chicken curry. :- Enjoy eating Malaysian Lacey Pancake!!
