- Green peas(crushed) - 3/4 cup
- All purpose flour(Maida) - 3/4 cup
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Onion(chopped) - 1 no
- Ginger(chopped) - 1 tsp
- Green chillies(chopped) - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Oil(For deep frying) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing filling, heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add cumin seeds, onion, green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves,coriander powder, garam masala, peas and required salt. Cook for few minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal sized small balls.
- Roll out each ball into a round of 3 inches.
- Place 2 tsp of filling on one half of the round.
- Wet the sides with fingers and fold over. Press to seal.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry mattar karanjis in marati style, till golden brown in color.
