  • 2 cups Semolina roasted, Rawa
  • 1 cup Powdered rice
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 1 cup Soya chunks crushed
  • 3/4 cup Coconut grated
  • 1 cup Onion finely chopped
  • Ginger a small piece, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida Kayam
  • Baking soda A pinch
  • Curry leaves chopped
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd


  • Take roasted semolina, powdered white rice, soya chunks and kayam powder in a vessel. Mix gently.
  • Add baking soda to curd and add to the above semolina mixture. Add little water and required salt to make a smooth batter.
  • Add the remaining ingredients to the dosa batter: grated coconut, chopped onion, ginger and curry leaves. Stir and mix.
  • Heat a tawa and brush surface with little oil. Spread out the batter like a dosa and fry on both sides.
  • Mixed adai, a highly nutritional breakfast dish, is ready.
