- Buttermilk - 500 ml
- Coconut(grated) - 1 no
- Shallots - 5 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Rice flour - 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves(few) -
- Salt to taste -
- Water as required -

- To begin Moru curry recipe add the buttermilk in a clay pot.
- Add ground coconut and rice flour. Rice flour is used to get a thickness for curry.
- Add turmeric powder.
- Add curry leaves and mix well.
- Switch on the heat,keep stirring and cook the curry on low heat till it starts to boil. Do not let the curry boil. Switch off the flame and add salt and mix well.
- Serve the Moru Curry along with steamed rice.
