Ingredients
- Rajma - 1 cup
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
- garlic(finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
- Ginger(finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
- Onion(finely chopped, large) - 1 no
- Green chillies(finely chopped) - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
- Chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Tomato(finely chopped, large) - 1 no
- Coriander leaves (for garnishing) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Soak rajma overnight and cook them in a pressure cooker till soft so that it can be half mashed using a wooden ladle.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Splutter cumin seeds.
- Add garlic and sautT till brown.
- Add ginger and sautT.
- Add onion and sautT well followed by green chilly.
- Add turmeric powder, chilly powder and coriander powder and sautT them.
- :- Reduce fire while adding spices.
- Add cumin powder and rajma and cook on slow fire till done.
- Gently mash rajma using wooden ladle.
- :- Don¦t mash it too much.
- Garnish with plenty of coriander leaves.
