Ingredients
- Red gram(Thuvaraparippu) - 20 gm
- Moong dal(Cheruparippu) - 20 gm
- Bengal gram(Kadalaparippu) - 20 gm
- Paalak(As reqd) -
- Garlic pods(halved) - 10 nos
- Ginger(A bit) -
- Green chillies - 5 -
- Oil - 1/2 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds(Jeerakam) -
- Mustard seeds -
- Milk - 1 1/2 cups
- Sugar - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Paneer(optional) -

Instructions
- Wash all dals and paalak.
- Place them along with ginger, green chillies and 1/2 cup of water in a pressure cooker.
- Pressure cook approximately for 12 mins.
- Cool it to room temperature.
- Grind 1/4 of the above mixture into a coarse form.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Add crushed garlic.
- Splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
- :- If desired, you can add asafoetida also.
- Add the dal mix and stir.
- Slowly add milk.
- Add paneer pieces and boil it for 1/2 min.
- :- Serve with rice or rotis. It can be used as a soup too.

d preperation looked very “pheeka”, i heated oil, n added some turmeric and chilli powder, i think it improved the look and taste…
