Ingredients
- Snake guard(padavalam) - 200 gm
- Thuvara parippu(toor daal) - 100 gm
- Onion - 1/2 piece
- Tomato - 1/2 piece
- Green chilly - 2 nos
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt(as required) -
- Red dry chilly - 2 nos
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Water(as required) -
- Curry leaves(as required) -
- Grinded coconut - 1 cup
- Shallots - 2
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp

Instructions
- Cut the padavalam in to small pieces.
- Cook it with cleaned thuvara parippu, onion, tomato, green chilly, salt, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and water as required.
- Mash it with a wooden spoon.
- Grind coconut 1 cup with 2 shallots and ¼ tsp turmeric powder and water as required Add grinded coconut and curry leaves.
- Heat oil in a vessel and sauté red dry chilly and mustard in it.
- Mix it with curry and again cook it for 3-5 minutes
