Boiled rice

Chana dal
Kadala parippu
Urud dal(Uzhunu parippu
black variety) - 1/4 cup, Uzhunu parippu
1/2
cup
Toovar dal
Thuvara parippu
3

Green chillies
6
nos
Red chillies
1
pinch
Asafoetida
Kayam
4
tsp
Salt
Gingelly oil
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing parippu ada, soak ingredients: boiled rice, channa dal, urad dal and toovar dal in
water
for 3 hours.
Grind this mixture with
green chillies
,
red chillies
, asafoetida,
salt
and
curry leaves
. This should be a semi thick solid.
Pour the batter in non-stick pan in round shape with a ladle and pour
gingelly oil
around it.
Turn both sides and cook.
Parippu ada is ready.
