Paya Soup Curry Paya Soup Curry is an excellent Pakistani dish with goat leg. Paya Soup Curry is very healthy soup dish. This Paya Soup Curry recipe is good to be taken in cold weather as it will keep the body warm. 1 no Goat leg (whole)2 nos Red onion (finely chopped, medium)2 nos Plum tomato (finely chopped)4 nos Green chillies (cut finely length wise)Ginger (garlic paste - 2 tbsp)6 - Coriander leaves3 - Idhayam oil1 tbsp Turmeric powder3/4 tbsp Cumin powder (Jeerakam)2 tbsp Coriander powder1/2 tbsp Pepper powder1/2 tsp Fennel powder (Perinjeerakam)Spices:-5 nos Whole red chillies (Kollamulaku)10 sprigs Curry leaves5 nos Whole pepper (Kurumulaku)1" stick Cinnamon (Karugapatta)2 nos Cardamom (Elakka)2 nos Cloves (Grambu)Cumin seeds (A little, Jeerakam) Pressure cook the leg pieces by adding 3 cups of water upto 10 whistles.Heat oil in a pot.Add all the spices and wait until the nice smell comes out.Add onion and fry, until golden brown.Add green chillies and coriander leaves.When it`s done, add ginger-garlic paste and saute, until golden brown.Add salt followed by turmeric powder.Add tomatoes and bring flame to medium-low and fry, until oil seperates.Make a paste of all the powders and add it to the above mixture.Add 2 cups of water and bring the mixture to boil on a medium flame.When the raw smell leaves, add the cooked leg bone pieces.Bring the flame to medium-low and allow to cook on all sides for atleast 30 - 40 mins.Add some coriander leaves to the Paya Soup Curry.:- Serve Paya Soup hot with roti, chappathi, parotta and idiyappam.
