Peanut Rice
Rice with peanut and other ingredients

Long grain rice
boiled with grains separated
1/2
cup
Peanuts
roasted
1
no
Onion
finely chopped, big
1
tbsp
Coriander leaves
chopped
1/2
cup
Coconut
grated
1
tsp
Sesame seeds
1/2
tsp
Mustard seeds
1/2
tsp
Chilly powder
1/4
tsp
Turmeric powder
1
spring
Curry leaves
2
tbsp
Oil
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing peanut rice, heat
oil
in a non stick pan and splutter
mustard seeds
.
Add
curry leaves
, chilly powder and
turmeric powder
. Stir it for a minute.
Then add in the
onion
and
sesame seeds
. When it becomes golden, add the
coconut
and peanuts. Fry well.
Add the rice and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Peanut rice is ready. Serve at once.
