Instructions
- Add salt and boil the peas and keep it ready
- Cut the onion lengthwise. Chillies and pudhina washed and set aside. For the spicy lovers chillies can be split lengthwise
- Heat ghee in a vessel
- Add the onion and chillies and fry till it turns golden brown
- Add the mint leaves
- Now add the rice and fry till the water in the rice gets absorbed
- Add water in 1:2 ratio and open cook. When the rice is done add the coriander and peas
- Mix it well. Be careful not to break the rice. Serve hot with raita or any gravy
