Ingredients
- All purpose flour(sieved, Maida) - 2 cups
- Sugar(powdered) - 2 cups
- Baking powder - 2 tsp
- Pineapple essence - 2 tsp
- Sugar - 50 g
- Butter - 100 g
- Pineapple(canned) - 100 g
- Eggs(beaten) - 4 nos
- Cream(whipped) -
- Salt - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
- Then add in maida, baking powder, essence and salt gradually, beating vigorously. Keep it aside.
- Drain the syrup from the canned pineapples and keep it aside.
- Grease a baking tray and arrange a butter paper in it.
- Put the butter on top and when it melts, arrange the pineapple slices, pour the cake batter over it and bake till well cooked.
- Remove and cool thoroughly before cutting into pastries.
