Ingredients
- Boiled rice - 1 1/2 cup
- Whole black gram/urad dal - 2 tsp
- Fenugreek - 1/2 tsp
- Fennel seeds - 2 tsp
- Red chilli - 1
- Plantain Flower(a fistfull) -
- Turmeric powder(a pinch) -
- Salt(as needed) -
- For seasoning: -
- Oil/Ghee - 1 tsp
- Mustard -

Instructions
- Wash the rice, black gram and fenugreek, and soak it for 4 hours.
- Remove stamens (in Tamil it is called as kallan and kullan) from the plantain flower.
- Grind the rice, plantain flower, fennel and red chilli.
- After grinding add salt and turmeric powder to the batter and allow it to ferment for 3 hours.
- In a kadai heat oil and add the ingredients for seasoning (as listed above), and add it to batter.
- Healthy and delicious plantain flower dosas ready.
- Serve it hot with coconut chutney.
