This all natural pudding with added ingredients like coconut milk and plantains will enhance the taste of the dish. Just a few handful of ingredients and you get the most amazing pudding ever. Cool the dessert and enjoy. It the ripe plantain combo that makes the dish more enjoyable especially for kids. Kids like the taste of cooked plantains and the crunch of chana dal here and there. Ragi Pudding is one of the healthiest and tastiest of pudding dishes. And the best thing of Healthy Ragi Pudding is that you can cut down on sugar completely and jaggery is added for the sweet flavor. Moreover the ripened plantains too adds a sweet favor to the dish. This Ragi Pudding simply melts in your mouth and the coconut flavored dessert will definitely blow off your mind. I prefer home made fresh coconut milk extracted from grated coconut instead of ready made ones available in stores.

I remember my grandmother advocating ragi based dishes for a healthy body. That’s true, she had a long healthy life. Ragi based dishes was quite common in my childhood. There was quite a good variety of dishes but one thing I admit, Ragi Pudding is the tastiest of all ragi based dishes that I am aware of. Coconut milk combined with jaggery gives a dessert touch to the dish. One thing I assure you, ragi and banana make a terrific combination and your toddler will lap it off completely in one shot. Of all millets and cereals, finger millet or ragi has the highest amount of calcium and potassium. Younger people can consume ragi daily while older people should consume ragi in measured quantities to prevent gastric disorders. You can discover a well detailed Healthy Ragi Pudding here.
