Ingredients
- Tamarind(Puli) - 1 small
- Water - 4 cups
- Garlic pods(crushed) - 10 nos
- Shallots(sliced) - 5 nos
- Tomato(chopped) - 1 small
- Asafoetida powder - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Fenugreek powder(Uluva) - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Dry red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 3 nos

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Splutter mustard seeds.
- Add dry red chillies, asafoetida powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, fenugreek powder and salt and saute well. Add chopped tomato and saute till it get mashed well.
- :- Serve hot with rice.
