Rava Pudding


Rava Pudding

For the pudding:

  • 1 ltr Milk
  • 1/4 kg Rava sooji
  • 1/4 cup Sugar or as required
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Butter
  • 6 nos Cardamom crushed

For caramel:


  • Take a pan and add sugar and water.
  • Place it on high flame and boil.
  • At the same time take a container with flat base (steel/glass) and brush the base with some buttter.
  • When the sugar solution turns brown(not golden brown),caramel syrup is ready.
  • Pour the caramel into the container.
  • Now take a milk pan, pour milk and then add ingredients 2 to 5.
  • Place the pan on low flame and start stirring the mix continuously,so that no lumps are formed.
  • Cook till the mix becomes thick (in the form of paste)
  • Remove from flame.
  • Pour the cooked pudding mix on to the container with caramel.
  • Make some more caramel and pour over the mix if you want.
  • Let it cool and then keep refreigerated(about 5 hrs)
  • Serve it on a plate upside down.
  • Garnish with nuts n raisins.
  • Enjoy!!
