Instructions Cook dal in a pressure cooker along with salt Heat up a pan. Add pumpkin pieces along with a little water and cook, till it is done. Add the cooked dal and mix well. Though I have tasted olan without coconut milk, surely not with turmeric. In Palghat surely, they make with coconut milk. In our place “olan” like this,and we are not putting coconut milk in this olan.. another kind also there, using white pumkin and coconut milk…So don`t be too smart….
