1 kg Chicken chopped
1 no Onion
4 nos Green chillies slit
1 tbsp Ginger minced
2 tsp Garlic minced
1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
1 tsp Garam masala
2 1/2 cups Coconut milk
Coconut oil As reqd
Curry leaves Few

Instructions

For preparing simple chicken stew, heat oil in a pan, add garam masala, ginger and garlic.
Add onion and cumin seeds.
Immediately add chicken and green chillies.
Add water and cook chicken till tender.
When cooked, add coconut milk and thicken the gravy.
Add required salt. Pour oil on top with curry leaves.
Serve with appam, idiappam, idly etc.
