Ingredients
- Chicken(chopped) - 1 kg
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Soya Sauce - 1 1/2 tsp
- Vinegar - 1 tsp
- Onions(finely chopped) - 2 cups
- Green chillies(slit) - 5 nos
- Garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Capsicum(sliced) - 1/4 cup
- Beetroot(grated) - 1 cup
- Tomato sauce - 1/4 cup
- Coriander leaves(finely chopped) - 6 springs
- Oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing special chicken varattiyathu, marinate the chicken pieces in soya sauce, chilly powder, vinegar and salt. Keep it aside for 1 hour.
- Fry the marinated chicken pieces in oil.
- In another vessel heat oil. SautT garlic paste, onions and green chillies.
- Add in beetroot, capsicum and pepper powder. Fry well.
- Toss in the fried chicken and mix it well in the masala.
- Garnish with coriander leaves. Remove it from the flame.
- Special chicken varattiyathu is ready. Serve hot.
