Ingredients
- Chicken(cut and cleaned) - 1 kg
- Onions(sliced, medium size) - 4 nos
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
- Green chillies(cut into halves) - 3 nos
- Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Tomatoes(sliced, medium size) - 3 nos
- Water(as reqd) -
- Salt(as reqd) -
For Garnish:
- Onion(thin sliced, medium size) - 1 no
- Coriander leaves(finely chopped) -
- Mint leaves(finely chopped) -

Instructions
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and saute the onions until they change color stightly.
- Add Green Chillies.
- Add Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder.
- Stir until the masala is well mixed.
- Add tomatoes and stir.
- Add 1 cup of water and close the pan, letting it cook for 3 minutes.
- Remove lid and add salt as needed and mix to the masala prepared.
- Add chicken, stir and let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes, checking water content and stirring every 5 minutes.
- Open lid and check if chicken is cooked, if not, close lid and let cook.
- If yes, keep the lid open and stir until water evaporates so that the chicken looks roasted with masala on.
- Our Spicy Chicken Roast is ready, now Garnish with coriander leaves, mint leaves and chopped onions.
- :- Serve with chappathis or plain rotis.
