Ingredients
- Spinach - 100 gm
- Onion - 3 nos
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Oil - 1/4 cup
- Asafoetida(A pinch, Kaayam) -
- Gram flour(Kadalapodi) - 1 cup
- Rice flour - 1/2 cup
- Corn flour(optional) - 3 tbsp
- Salt - 1 tsp

Instructions
- Chop the onions thinly.
- Wash and cut the spinach.
- Take a bowl and mix well gram flour, rice flour, corn flour, salt and asafoetida.
- Add little water and make it into a thick batter.
- Add chopped onions and spinach to the batter. Mix thoroughly.
- Heat oil in a frypan.
- Put small amount of batter mix and deep fry.
- Repeat the same for the remaining batter.
- :- Any type of spinach can be used.
