Spinach-Cheera Kebab

Spinach cooked with crushed paneer to prepare kebabs. Spinach is highly nutritious comprising of inositol and choline, the substances preventing hardening of arteries.

  • Take a frying pan and pour oil. Heat the oil and fry the chopped onion until golden in color.
  • Add ginger, garlic and green chillies and fry for some time.
  • Stir in chopped spinach and cook with a covered lid in low heat until dry.
  • Add required salt and add crushed paneer.
  • Remove from fire and stir in curry leaves, coriander leaves and pepper powder. Mix gently.
  • Take a small portion of the spinach mixture and roll out into a long kebab with your hand.
  • Repeat preparing kebabs with the remaining spinach mix.
  • Take a frying pan and pour sufficient oil for frying. Heat the oil.
  • Roll out the kebab in bread crumbs and dip into the boiling oil. Lower the heat and fry the kebab on both sides until golden.
  • Spinach kebab is ready and serve with tomato sauce.
