Stuffed Cauliflower Stuffed Cauliflower - Tamil nadu style 1 no Cauliflower (medium)1/4 kg Shelled peas2 tsp Coriander powder1/2 tsp Chilly powder1" piece Ginger2 nos Onion (small)1 1/2 tsp Salt1 cup Flour1 cup Bread crumbs1/2 kg Oil Remove the green leaves from the cauliflower, keeping the white portion intact. Boil some water with 1/2 tsp of salt. Plunge the cauliflower into the boiling water and cook for 2 - 3 mins. :- Care should be taken to see that it does not become too soft. Crush shelled peas and ginger. Cut onion into small pieces.Heat 1 spoon oil in a pan or a kadai.Saute onion. Add ginger and peas and cook on a very low fire for 5 mins.Stuff this mixture between the sprigs of the cauliflower from underneath. Make a very thick batter of coating consistency with 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup water. Add a pinch of chilly powder and salt to taste. Coat the stuffed cauliflower with this and cover with bread crumbs.Deep fry until golden brown. :- A wide kadai must be used for frying.:- Alternately, it may be coated with egg white and bread crumbs and fried.:- Minced meat may be used instead of peas.
